Cameras Help First Responders Fight City Fire

On Monday, June 16, 2008, a fire broke out near the intersection of North Prince and Ross Streets. Our video safety camera located at that intersection capture the earliest stages of a house fire -- before fire fighters had even arrived. Our camera feed was helpful to County-Wide Communications and firefighters on the scene from start to finish. The video was requested by Fire Chief Tim Gregg and is now used as a training tool for the department.
